Villa d'Este is a typical Renaissance-style architectural complex located in the city of Tivoli, just a 15-minute walk from the train station. The villa is representative of the Italian Renaissance-style garden and is more commonly known in Chinese as the Palace of a Thousand Springs. Although the name does not directly relate to the villa itself, it vividly describes its characteristics: there are numerous fountains and decorative pools inside. The villa covers 4.5 hectares and has approximately 500 hot springs, including the Organ Fountain, the Fountain of the Chalice, the Oval Fountain, and the Owl Fountain. On hot summer days, strolling along the Hundred Springs Road, the sound of flowing water is refreshing. Water is the basic element that constitutes the villa, connecting natural landscapes and artificial facilities, allowing visitors to both cool off in the flowing water and appreciate the unique beauty of Villa d'Este, making it an excellent tourist destination.

This museum is one of the most important archaeological museums in Italy, mainly collecting artifacts from the towns submerged after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in August 79 AD, such as Pompeii, Stabiae, and Herculaneum, exhibiting relics from ancient Greece, ancient Rome, and even ancient Egypt. In addition, the museum also collects a small number of works from the Renaissance period. The museum has four floors, with the underground floor exhibiting mummies, the first floor exhibiting various sculptures, mostly full or partial nudity, mostly life-size, and a few with giant, realistic figures. In addition, the first floor also has self-service vending machines, automatic coffee machines, bookstores, and various sarcophagi. The second floor has a famous Secret Room, which is only open to adults and contains wall paintings of sexual intercourse between men and women and a variety of male genitalia and a small amount of female genitalia with different sizes and shapes. The third floor has a magnificent hall that is worth admiring. Overall, the collections of the National Museum of History have high artistic value.

Mount Vesuvius is located on the Apennine Peninsula in Europe and is the largest active volcano in the area, formed by the collision of the Eurasian and African plates. It has a long history of eruptions and famously destroyed the ancient city of Pompeii in 79 AD, making it one of the world's most dangerous volcanoes. The volcano is currently dormant and its last eruption was in 1944. It can be climbed by foot, following a path of volcanic rock to the crater. Handrails are needed during the climb due to the high altitude and strong winds. The summit offers a magnificent view of the crater and the entire climb takes 20 to 30 minutes.
