Geysir

Geyser is one of the famous geysers in Iceland, named for its explosive eruptions. It has the highest water column among all geysers and geothermal springs in Iceland, known worldwide. The entire eruption process can be clearly observed from the vent, especially when the boiling water forms a bowl shape before the eruption, and then the water column turns into steam, shooting up to about 20 meters high, which is very magnificent. In addition, the nearby Strokkur geyser erupts approximately every eight minutes, shooting water columns up to 20 meters high, which is also very spectacular. Geyser is a large circular pool with a diameter of about 18 meters, and in the center of the pool, there is a cave-like opening with a diameter of more than 10 centimeters. The water inside the cave can reach temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. During each eruption, the water in the cave starts to rumble, gradually boiling, and then it shoots out of the opening, soaring into the sky as a steam column, about 20 meters high. It then splashes down, sparkling like pearls and jade. Each eruption lasts about 1 to 2 minutes and then subsides, repeating this cycle continuously, creating a beautiful and magnificent scenery.

Thank you for the reminder, it's really good advice, thank you! I'm flying in from Oslo and have been traveling in Norway before. I have a 4-night itinerary in Iceland, planning to fly in at noon and stay in Vik that night, then visit the black sand beach in the morning of the second day and go glacier hiking in the afternoon, staying at a hotel near Jokulsarlon glacier that night, visiting the ice lake and ice beach on the third day and driving back, passing through Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss along the way, staying at Selfoss that night, sightseeing in Reykjavik city and visiting the Blue Lagoon on the fourth day, staying near the airport that night, and taking an early morning flight to Stockholm on the fifth day. If I don't have time to see the attractions of the Golden Circle on the first day, is it possible to fit them in on the fourth day, or should I only choose one or two attractions of the Golden Circle, or give them up altogether? Could you guys please help? Three of us are going to Iceland in early February for 8-9 days, and plan to visit Vik black sand beach, glacier lagoon, golden circle, grass hat mountain, Reykjavik. We are all "old hands" and of course prefer Road trip. The problem is that we have no experience driving on icy roads, and we are worried that we may not be able to handle the road conditions in bad weather.
