Gaslamp Quarter is a historic district in downtown San Diego. The Midway Aircraft Carrier is one of the longest-serving aircraft carriers in world history and one of the longest-serving aircraft carriers in US Navy history. She has experienced World War II, the Vietnam War, and the Desert Storm action. The ship was decommissioned in 1992 and has become a living history in San Diego by the sea.
