Introduction

The Cleveland Museum of Art is an art museum located in the University Circle neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. It is home to a permanent collection of over 43,000 works of art. The museum's permanent galleries are open to the public for free, but some special exhibitions require a ticket fee. Due to renovations, the permanent galleries are currently closed, but special exhibitions will continue to be open until renovations are complete. Some of the permanent galleries will begin to reopen after June 2008.
