No Chicagoan is not proud of their architecture. Since the 19th century, Chicago's architectural style has been free from the influence of European architectural styles, breaking away from traditional constraints and designing great buildings that represent "America" and "modernity".

First Chicago School emerged in the 1880s and was characterized by its use of steel frames and large areas of glass windows, many of which were arranged in three horizontal rows.

Rookery Building

The Rookery building is a historic landmark office building located at 209 South LaSalle Street in the Loop community area of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA. It was completed in 1888 by architects John Wellborn Root and Daniel Burnham of Burnham and Root and is considered one of their masterpieces.

Marina Towers

Marina Towers, a twin star complex built in 1964, was designed by Bertrand Goldberg. Its design style is distinctive with strong geometric aesthetics, making it an imaginative modern building.

Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoo

Lincoln Park Zoo is a small municipal zoo located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The zoo has less than 200 animals, including black bears, bald eagles, mountain lions, and more. It is situated along the Little Manitowoc River and offers a deck for viewing ducks, geese, sandhill cranes, and many other birds that gather along the river. The park's wooden pavilions have diverse and unique architectural designs, making them stand out.

Wicker Park & Bucktown

Wicker Park, also known as Fashion Triangle, was once home to many talented designers and is now a favorite area among yuppies. It has various art galleries, designer brand shops, home stores, and bookstores, many of which are located within the Flat Iron Arts Building. Additionally, there are countless trendy restaurants and nightclubs here, such as Takashi and Big Star.

Dusty Groove

Corbett vs. Dempsey gallery is located on the third floor of Dusty Groove and showcases the owner's diverse interests in jazz music, film, and contemporary art.
