Self-driving. Pfeiffer Beach is located in the center of Big Sur, about 1/4 mile from the Big Sur Ranger Station. Turn onto Sycamore Canyon Road from Highway 1. Sycamore Canyon Road is difficult to find, so please drive carefully and pay attention to safety. The road is very narrow, so please drive slowly. It's about 2 miles from the highway to the beach.
