Introduction

Formerly a private garden of the DuPont family, it is now open to the public and considered one of the most beautiful private gardens in America. It includes a large greenhouse and outdoor exhibit of plants showcasing flora from various climate regions, from tropical rainforests to arid deserts, in all their splendor throughout the year. During the summer, daily music fountain shows are held, and special events such as concerts and fireworks are held on holidays. As one of the favorite attractions for local Chinese and tourists, the earliest tour equipment at Longwood Gardens was bilingual in Chinese and English.
