Introduction

Lincoln Park is located in the downtown area of Chicago and covers an area of 1,200 acres, making it one of the largest public parks in the city. The park is lush with trees, bamboo, and endless grassy fields. The park is equipped with numerous sports fields, bustling neighborhoods, beaches, and boat docks, catering to various entertainment needs. In addition, the park is home to Lincoln Park Zoo, Lincoln Park Conservatory, and Chicago History Museum. Lincoln Park Zoo is a year-round free zoo open to travelers. Many volunteers serve here each year. Although the area is not large, there are a variety of species of animals that live and dwell here. The environment is pleasant, and the living atmosphere is extremely rich. It is worth mentioning that the famous greenhouse outside the north gate of the zoo can also be visited for free. Even in harsh winter weather, you can still feel the breath of spring here.

Transportation
Take the Brown or Purple Line subway and get off at Armitage station. Walk east for about 1 mile. Alternatively, take CTA buses 22, 36, 151, or 156 to the West Gate (Stockton & Webster).
