Introduction

The National Museum of Natural History in the United States is one of the world's largest natural history museums, and also the most visited natural museum. The museum's exhibits are well preserved, including the Hope Diamond, also known as the "cursed diamond", which has been circulating for nearly 300 years and is now on display in a necklace, attracting more than one billion tourists.

Take the Blue/Orange Line and get off at Federal Triangle metro station. Walk south on 12th Street and turn east onto Constitution Avenue (away from the direction of the Washington Monument). It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the National Museum of American History.
