Introduction
The National Mall, located in Washington D.C., is an open national park. It stretches from the west side of the Lincoln Memorial to Capitol Hill, including many famous buildings such as the Washington Monument, National Museum of American History, Washington Union Station, Jefferson Memorial, and Roosevelt Memorial. Capitol Hill is the headquarters of the United States Congress and is named after being located at the highest point in the city (25 meters). This area is also an important venue for major demonstrations, marches, and civil rights speeches in American history. Walking from Capitol Hill towards the Lincoln Memorial, you can enjoy the giant reflection of the Washington Monument, which stands in the 100-meter-wide reflection pool and is cleverly designed. There are not many tourists here, and you can feel the solemn atmosphere of the core area of the government. Opening hours 24/7 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
Transportation Subway: Blue/Orange Line, Smithsonian Station.
