Introduction
Grace Cathedral is the Episcopal cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of California, located on Nob Hill in San Francisco. The diocese's tradition once included the entire state of California, but has now shrunk to the San Francisco Bay Area. Grace Cathedral is known for its tolerance, and has become an international pilgrimage site for both believers and tourists. Inside the church, visitors can see Jan Henryk De Rosen's mosaics, a replica of Lorenzo Ghiberti's "Gates of Paradise," two labyrinths, various stained glass windows, medieval and modern furniture, as well as a bell tower with 44 bells, three organs, and a choir stall.
