Introduction

Columbus Circle is a modernist building located at the intersection of 59th Street and Broadway in Manhattan, New York City. It was designed and built by architect Edward Durell Stone in 1963. The sculpture at the center of the circle was created by Italian sculptor Gaetano Russo to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Columbus discovering the Americas. It is worth noting that the sculpture is made from 42 different types of glass and is very beautiful. In addition, there is a shopping center and market stalls here, which are both worth a visit.
