Introduction

Hearst Castle was built by California newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst on a hill near San Simeon, between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Construction began in 1919 and lasted almost 40 years until it was completed in 1957. The castle is situated on a hill overlooking the ocean, with stunning views and a popular tourist destination for celebrities and the public alike. Today, it is an iconic building in the area. Inside Hearst Castle, visitors can find almost every art treasure of the Renaissance period, as well as world-renowned antiques. The swimming pool made of white marble and 22K gold is particularly impressive. The castle's grandeur is stunning, and it's hard to imagine such a huge castle being built in a secluded seaside town. It is definitely worth a visit.
