Introduction

Belfast Castle was first built in 1611 on Cave Hill, but was destroyed 100 years later. The castle we see today was rebuilt in 1860. It has now become an ideal venue for banquets, celebrations and weddings, and has a souvenir shop and restaurant.

Transportation
Take the 1B, 1D, 1E, or 1F from Upper Queen Street in the city center to the Belfast Castle Antrim Road stop. The journey takes 40 minutes.
