Introduction

Butte Park is located on the northwest bank of the Taif River and is a beautiful green belt that is 1.5 miles long. At the southern end of the park is a wall called the "Animal Wall," which is engraved with vivid animal reliefs. In the 1930s, a local newspaper serialized a comic featuring these animal reliefs as the main characters, which was deeply loved by local children. Many children believe that these animal reliefs come to life at night.
