Introduction

The Hunterian Museum and Hunterian Art Gallery and The Mackintosh House are located at the University of Glasgow and are Scotland's earliest public museums. The collection includes a variety of exhibits, such as medieval coins, exotic treasures brought back by Captain Cook's Pacific voyage, dinosaur fossils and mummies, and art treasures. In addition, the museum also recreates the home of the famous Scottish architects Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife. Inside the Mackintosh House, visitors can experience what it was like to live in their residence 100 years ago, with the white living room featuring long backrest chairs and silver-foil windows, as well as other fresh and unusual decorations that are truly breathtaking.
