Transportation
From the exit of Edinburgh Waverley Train Station, you can see Edinburgh Castle on a hill to the southwest. Walk westward past Waverley Bridge to reach The Mound, then head south towards Ramsay Lane to reach Castle Esplande. Alternatively, take Lothian Bus 23, 27, 41, 42, 45, or 67 and get off at a nearby stop near Bank Street and Victoria Street intersection.
