Introduction

London is home to the largest and most famous modern art museum in Britain, exhibiting numerous world-class modern art works from the 20th century onwards. The museum was originally an abandoned power station, with its towering chimneys being a popular talking point. The exhibits inside the museum are classified according to themes, including poetry, materials, flow and yearning. In addition, the café at the museum offers beautiful views of the Thames River. Apart from its permanent collection, the museum also features temporary exhibitions of emerging artists. If time permits, visitors can join free guided tours for a deeper understanding of modern art.
