Introduction

The Caserta Royal Palace, built in the 18th century, is one of the representatives of Italian Baroque architecture. Designed by the famous architect Luigi Vanvitelli, the palace has 1,200 rooms, 1,790 windows, and 34 staircases, not to mention the expansive rear garden. There is a five-kilometer-long water channel that weaves through the sculptures and vegetation in the garden, presenting a perfect scene like artwork in front of tourists. Known as the "court garden more beautiful than Versailles," the Caserta Royal Palace was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1997, with the full name "18th Century Royal Palace at Caserta with the Park, the Aqueduct of Vanvitelti, and the San Leucio Complex." This world-renowned royal palace is definitely worth careful appreciation.
