Introduction
The intersection of Emanuele Street and Maqueda Street is located at the center of Palermo's old town, dividing it into four areas. On one side of the intersection, there is a fountain sculpture representing the four seasons, four kings of Sicily, and four protectors of Palermo. The four corners of the intersection are semi-circular Baroque facades, each with three floors displaying sculptures representing the four seasons, four Spanish kings of Sicily, and four protectors of Palermo.
