Introduction

The Turin Museum of Oriental Art houses over 2,000 artworks from different countries in Asia, showcasing the beauty of art from five different cultural regions including South Asia, China, Japan, the Himalayan region, and Islamic countries in Asia. Visitors can choose from five different walking routes to travel through time and experience the rich flavors of ancient cultures. The Chinese exhibit is arranged based on the order of dynasties, with each exhibition showcasing art pieces that represent significant historical and cultural meaning. Visitors can use touch-screen devices to learn more about the introductions of each dynasty and information on each exhibit. The Turin Museum of Oriental Art was initially built to allow citizens of Turin to better understand the history and culture of distant countries. After renovation and redefinition, it has become a true art palace.
