Introduction

Egg Castle is one of the oldest castles in Naples, with a history of over 2,000 years. Legend has it that there is a buried egg under the castle, which was built in the 6th century BC. If the egg breaks, the castle will immediately disappear and bring disaster to Naples. Egg Castle was originally a magnificent villa of Roman nobleman Lucullus, and was also the place where the last Western Roman Emperor was exiled by the Roman army. It is located by the sea and has beautiful scenery. From the castle's windows, you can see spectacular sea views and sunsets.
