Introduction

The San Andrea della Valle Church, designed by Larioaldi, is a typical Baroque architecture with a magnificent and splendid exterior. The dome is one of Maderno's most outstanding works and the second-largest roof after St. Peter's Basilica. The dome's interior depicts exquisite frescoes, which are breathtaking. The San Andrea della Valle Church is famous for being the background of the first act of Puccini's opera "Tosca".
