Introduction
The San Pietro in Vincoli Church was built between 432-440 AD and is a church dedicated to St. Peter, who wore the chains that are housed there. Legend has it that Queen Eudocia brought this chain back to Rome and presented it to Pope Leo I. St. Peter's chain miraculously joined with the chain in Jerusalem and is stored in a reliquary under the main altar of the Temple. In addition, the San Pietro in Vincoli Church also displays Michelangelo's famous sculpture of Moses, making it a must-visit tourist destination. Address Piazza di San Pietro in Vincoli 4a
