Introduction
The Cordoba Castle is a charming medieval building that was once one of the main residences of the Spanish monarchs and a place where history was written. Later, it became a military camp for Napoleon in 1810 and was transformed into a prison in 1821. This castle, which has undergone many changes, reopened as a tourist attraction in the 1950s and has been highly praised by visitors. Alfonso XI built this palace in 1328 using Mudéjar-style architecture and it has exquisite gardens. In the 15th century, Catholic monarchs built a palace here and launched a war to conquer Granada. In 1483, Boabdil was imprisoned here and for nearly three hundred years, the Castle remained a base for religious rulings. Today, visitors can experience the charm of medieval history and admire a range of unique buildings and landscapes here. Address Campo Santo de los Mártires Square, s n, 14004 Cordoba
