Museo de Santa Cruz, A Renaissance Gem of Artistic Splendor

Introduction
The Santa Cruz Museum was once an abandoned baby and orphanage and was supported by Queen Isabella of the Catholic Monarchs. The construction began with the Egas brothers and was completed by Covarrubias in 1524. The entire building is considered one of the most magnificent classics of the silver craftsman-style architecture, characterized by complex floral decorations, reaching the pinnacle of artistry. The main facade, three entrances to the front hall, internal courtyard gallery, and the stairs connecting the two-story building are considered the most outstanding parts of the architecture. The museum is divided into three parts: the first part displays the works of painters such as Greco, the second part displays Roman inlaid bricks and other archaeological artifacts, and the third part displays decorative art.
