Introduction

The construction of the cathedral began in 1523 and lasted for nearly two centuries, finally being completed in the 18th century. Although the tower is still unfinished, the entire building incorporates elements of various styles on the basis of Gothic style, including Renaissance, Mudéjar, and Baroque. Modified by several designers, the cathedral is renowned for its diversity and unique artistic style.
