Plaza Isabel II

Introduction
The Royal Opera House building is located opposite the Madrid Royal Palace and was built for Queen Isabella II. The design and construction lasted for 32 years, and despite taking a long time, it was completed at an astonishing speed under the order of the royal family. However, the building presented a challenge to stage design, and the flaws in sightlines of seats drew people's attention. To solve this problem, the designer decided to use a projector to project images onto the wall above the stage so that all viewers could enjoy the performance. Opening hours From 10:30 to 13:00 every day, visitors can enter with a tour guide every half hour.
