Introduction
The Dragon Bridge, situated in Ljubljana, is surrounded by bronze dragon statues, which are one of the city's most common and symbolic landmarks. It was built between 1900-1901 and was the city's first reinforced concrete building, and one of Europe's largest reinforced concrete bridges at the time. Initially called Franz Joseph Jubilee Bridge, the sculptures on the bridge were designed to be flying lions instead of dragons. However, the architect, Zaninović from Dalmatia, brought the appearance of the new art movement style to the Dragon Bridge. Address Resljeva ul, Ljubljana, Slovenia
