Introduction
Lilla Torg was built in 1591, surrounded by half-timbered houses from the 16th to 18th centuries. It used to be the main marketplace in the city and is now the most lively area in Malmö, with the highest concentration of restaurants, cafes, and gift shops. The square has a giant lamp post, 5.8 meters tall, built in 2006. The lamp post was built to provide a place for pedestrians to rest and has become an unmissable part of the Malmö city center. On December 15th every year, the lamp post returns to Lilla Torg, and at other times, it is exhibited in different cities in Sweden. Standing under this giant lamp post feels like stepping into a fairy tale world. Address Lilla torg, 211 34 Malmö, Sweden
