Introduction

The St. Anastasia Church is one of the largest churches in the Dalmatian region, with a history dating back to the early Christian church era. Its Romanesque exterior was formed in the 12th century, but suffered serious damage in the Crusader siege of 1202, and was subsequently expanded and repaired. Today, St. Anastasia Church remains an important building in the area, attracting many tourists and worshipers to visit and worship.
