Introduction
The Franciscan monastery, built in the 14th century, is now a charming tourist destination with its Baroque cloister, containing precious paintings, music archives, libraries and portraits on gold and silverware, attracting many visitors from all over the world. Here, there is also Europe's oldest pharmacy, built in 1317, which is amazing. The monastery museum displays many interesting exhibits, allowing visitors to learn how people distilled water, made medicine, and took accurate measurements in the 14th century. It is also the third oldest pharmacy in the world, presenting a marvelous visual feast with ancient manuscripts. Opening hours Summer: 9:00-18:00
