Introduction
Nuuksio National Park, located northwest of Helsinki, is the closest national forest park to Helsinki and easily accessible by public transportation. The park features abundant wetlands and rocks, making it perfect for hiking and camping. There are six different walking routes in the park, ranging in length from 1.6 km to 17 km. Finland is known as the "Land of a Thousand Lakes" due to its rich geological activity, formed by lakes created by the retreat of glaciers. In May 2013, the all-wooden Haltia Nature Center opened in the park, showcasing the landscapes of forest parks throughout Finland. The second floor offers a self-service restaurant with prices ranging from 11 to 20 euros. Additionally, there is a souvenir shop next to the self-service restaurant that sells a variety of wooden souvenirs. Address 32 Haukkalammentie, ESPOO (Parking lot address)
