Introduction

The Paris Sewer Museum is a unique museum that showcases the history of urban sewers, drainage technology, and drinking water sources. The museum displays a large number of pictures, equipment, and real drainage pipes, providing detailed information on the water treatment history, drainage technology, and drinking water sources in Paris. It is known that there are 2400 kilometers of sewer system underground in Paris. However, due to safety reasons, we strongly discourage anyone from entering the unopened sewer areas in the city.
