Introduction

The Marmottan Monet Museum is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, France. The museum's collection includes over 300 works of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art, as well as a variety of art collected by Daniel Wildenstein: illuminated manuscripts, artwork from the Napoleonic era, furniture, and paintings from Italy and Flanders. Monet's son donated his father's paintings from the Monet family home to the museum, which also showcases works by other Impressionist masters such as Édouard Manet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Camille Pissarro.
