Introduction
The Palace of the Bourbon, originally built for the Duchess of Bourbon, daughter of Louis XIV, was designed by Italian architect Lorenzo Giardini and completed in 1728. It later became the seat of the French National Assembly. Located on the south bank of the Seine River, it covers a huge area and consists of the parliamentary hall and a series of ancillary buildings, totaling over a hundred rooms. It features a grand semi-circular design. The north gate is composed of 12 large stone columns, forming a wide colonnade that supports a triangular pediment, covered with overall relief sculptures. In addition, there are 30 steps beneath the colonnade, adorned with 6 exquisite statues on each side. Address 126 Rue de l'Université, 75007 Paris, France
