Introduction
Established in 1937, Tokyo Palace is located in the International Exhibition Area for Modern Life Arts and Technology. It was formerly the site of the National Museum of Modern Art, the National Contemporary Art Foundation, and the National Photography Center. Since 2002, Tokyo Palace has become an art center for innovative contemporary art. The center regularly exhibits works from young artists and also showcases works of French and international contemporary art to the public. In addition, Tokyo Palace Art Center has a restaurant (Tokyo Eat), a bookstore, and a shop called BlackBlock, making it a great place for cultural and artistic exchange.
