Introduction

The Madeleine Church in the 8th district of Paris is surrounded by 52 Corinthian columns, each 20 meters tall. They were built to commemorate historical events and honor the glory of Napoleon's army. The church is located at the northern end of rue Royale, on the north side of Place de la Concorde, with Place de la Madeleine to the east and the Church of Saint-Augustin to the west. This neoclassical-style building still retains its historical significance and attracts many tourists to visit.
