Introduction

The Military Museum (Musée de l'Armée), located in the courtyard of Les Invalides, houses a rich collection of military artifacts from ancient times to the present day. Established in 1871 as the Artillery Museum, it was later merged with the Military History Museum in 1905 to become the present-day Military Museum. It spans an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters and holds over 500,000 items, including weapons, armor, firearms, uniforms, paintings, and various other forms of collections.

Opening hours
The French Military Museum is open to the public every day. From April 1st to October 31st: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00
from November 1st to March 31st: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00. Ticket sales stop 30 minutes before the museum closes.
Transportation
Metro: Invalides station on lines 8, 10, and 13, or Latour-Maubourg station on line 8. RER C regional express train: Invalides. 7-minute walk from the metro station.
