Introduction

Montparnasse Tower, also known as Montparnasse High-Rise, was built in 1972. It stands at 209 meters tall and is the only skyscraper in the city center of Paris, as well as the second tallest building after the Eiffel Tower. Visitors can take one of the fastest elevators in the world to reach the observation floor on the 56th floor in just 38 seconds. From there, you can enjoy a close-up 360-degree view of Paris, experiencing the most impressive and central perspective of the city. The 56th floor is specially designed for visitors, with wind and rain protection, keeping it warm in winter and cool in summer. The large glass windows present the beautiful scenery of the entire city in front of you. On clear days, you can see views up to 40 kilometers away from the observation deck on the 59th floor. Initially mocked by the citizens, Montparnasse Tower has gradually become a must-visit place for admiring the beauty of Paris over time. In addition to the observation deck, the Ciel de Paris restaurant on the 55th floor is also a popular choice for tourists. Here, you can indulge in both gourmet food and beautiful views. Although the view towards the south is relatively less spectacular compared to the north, overall, Montparnasse Tower is definitely worth a visit.
