Introduction
The Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre is a national-level theater led by the Russian Ministry of Culture and is one of the three famous opera and ballet theaters in Russia. Its most unique feature is its 60-meter diameter and 35-meter high dome, which is the first building in Europe without steel supports and has won the gold medal at the World Architecture Exhibition held in Paris. The theater consists of multiple theaters, with the main theater accommodating 2,000 spectators and a strong lineup of actors. The theater is located in the city center of Novosibirsk, with the main building construction starting in 1931 and completed in 1941. In 2004, the theater underwent renovation and modernization, with advanced hardware technologies such as computerized stage facilities. This theater has excellent views and sound effects, as well as excellent staff service. Tickets can be purchased online at a cheaper price compared to Moscow and St. Petersburg. In addition to its architecture, the theater also has a little-known history, which is that during World War II, it served as a place to preserve the collections of the Moscow and St. Petersburg museums. Whether it is architecture or history, this is a theater worth visiting. Address Russia, 630099, Novosibirsk, Krasny Prospekt, 36
