Introduction
The Cathedral of the Assumption was first built in 1158 and is an ancient church in Russia. It is known for its five golden domes and solemn atmosphere inside. The church is famous for its colorless artificial white stone structure, and all the Russian tsars were crowned here. The church was severely damaged during the invasion of the Tatars in the 13th century, but the colorful murals from the 12th, 15th, and 18th centuries were preserved after restoration. The famous painting "The Virgin of Vladimir" by the painter Andrei Rublev is also housed here. During the period of the Soviet Union's religious ban, most churches were closed, but the Cathedral of the Assumption remained open to the public. Here, you can also find precious cultural heritage such as the mural "The Last Judgment" by the famous 15th-century painter Andrei Rublev. The Cathedral of the Assumption is a valuable historical heritage. Address Bolshaya Moskovskaya str, 56, Vladimir, Vladimir Oblast, Russia 600000
