Introduction

Located in front of the Russian Museum, the compact Art Square is connected to Mikhailovskaya Street and Nevsky Prospekt, and is shaped like an ellipse. In 1957, a statue of Pushkin was erected in the square to commemorate the outstanding Russian literary figure. The central statue in the square offers beautiful views and a sense of history.
