Introduction
Alexander Pushkin, a famous Russian poet, ended his life in his family estate in Pushkin. Today, the Pushkin Museum in Pushkin is dedicated to showcasing the last few months of Pushkin's life. The apartment is located near the Winter Palace, with a small and hard-to-find entrance. Once inside, visitors can see a statue of Pushkin on the central lawn. The ticket office is straight ahead, and opposite the statue of Pushkin is the entrance to the apartment, where the poet's final days are displayed. Visitors are required to wear free shoe covers before entering. On the right side of the apartment is the museum, featuring manuscripts and portraits of Pushkin and his friends, allowing visitors to admire Pushkin's beautiful handwriting.
Pushkin was born into an aristocratic family in St. Petersburg and was highly admired by many women for his talent and charm. He opposed the Tsar and was exiled three times, but the life of exile provided him with more inspiration for his creations. In 1831, Pushkin married Natalya, who was known as Russia's most beautiful woman at the time. In 1835, the couple encountered a French youth named Dantes, who was rumored to be deeply in love with Natalya, causing gossip. Eventually, in 1837, Pushkin was drawn into a duel, reportedly to defend his wife's honor. Although he was seriously injured in the duel, it was an accepted way by the government to maintain honor. The truth about the duel remains uncertain, but Pushkin was ultimately buried in his family estate, Pushkin. Address Naberezhnaya Reki Moyki, d 12
