Introduction

Sparrow Hill is located on the south bank of Moscow, Russia. It is the highest point in the city, with an elevation of 220 meters. The hill is covered with dense forests, and across the river, you can see the Luzhniki Stadium and Ukraine Hotel. The observation deck is located 85 meters above the river, offering a partial view of the city, including the Luzhniki Stadium and the Ukraine Hotel. From below the observation deck, you can see the Luzhniki Railway Bridge, and opposite is the main entrance of Moscow University. The hill was named "Sparrow Hill" in 1451 after the priest Vorobey (meaning sparrow), and it was renamed "Lenin Hill" from 1924 to 1991 in honor of Lenin.

Transportation
Take subway line 1 to the Sparrow Hills (Воробьёвые горы) station to reach the foot of Sparrow Hills; take tram number 7 to reach the observation deck of Sparrow Hills. Moscow University can be reached by taking subway line 1 to the University (Университет) station, as well as buses number 1, 57, 67, 103, 111, 113, 119, 130, 187, and 260, and trams number 4, 28, 34, and 49. Trams number 14, 26, and 39 also go to Moscow University.
