Introduction
Moscow River is the mother river of Moscow, the capital of Russia, with a total length of 502 kilometers, and approximately 80 kilometers within the city area. Yacht cruising is an excellent way to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Moscow River. You can admire famous attractions such as the White House, Sparrow Hills, the main building of the university, and the Cultural Park amusement park and the Historical Museum in the architectural complex. The Christ the Savior Cathedral on the banks of the Moscow River is the most magnificent cathedral in Moscow, with five golden onion-shaped domes and a central dome that is 102 meters high. On the other side, the huge statue commemorates the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Navy. It is 60 meters tall and has a powerful visual impact. The Moscow River has also had many interesting stories. For example, during a major fire in 1547, residents escaped the flames by throwing precious gemstones into the river. It is said that the river also contains sunken ships loaded with gold and silver from the early 19th century Napoleonic Wars. Therefore, without special permission, diving equipment is not allowed in the section of the Moscow River that passes through the city center. This section of the river is controlled by the Federal Security Service diving team, known locally as "frogmen," and is responsible for the security patrol of the underwater gateway to the Kremlin.
