Introduction

The Mercedes-Benz Museum has a dual spiral structure resembling a DNA double helix, showcasing the brand's history and classics. As the elevator ascends or descends, the sound of car horns and horse hooves playing in the background transports visitors through time, allowing them to experience the development of automobiles from beginning to end, and understand how cars have evolved towards faster, more streamlined, and environmentally friendly directions. The Mercedes-Benz Museum exhibits over 1450 items, including 160 display cars, including unforgettable legendary models such as the gull-wing sports cars and the Silver Arrows from the 1950s. Architects Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos designed the iconic "trifoliate patterns" and the "bullet" elevators concept, which represent their unique creativity. The entire museum presents a vivid reflection of a brand, an industry, and the global economy.
