Introduction

The Alster Lake Arcade, located next to the City Hall, was built in 1843. The white arched corridor presents a Renaissance style and has now become a gathering place for modern shops. It still retains its Southern European characteristics, with occasional performances by folk artists. Taking a stroll here, you can see seagulls hovering and occasionally dipping into the lake, while swans peacefully swim by, leaving behind beautiful reflections. In the evening, the Alster Lake Arcade is even more charming, immersing visitors in the charm of Southern Europe.
