Introduction

Cologne Zoo is one of the largest and most diverse zoos in Europe, with over 4,000 animals from over 500 species. Popular exhibits include the Elephant House, Owl Pavilion, Aquarium, and Monkey Island. Since 1987, Cologne Zoo has been dedicated to the conservation of endangered species such as the Red-crowned Crane, Vietnamese Pheasant, Pink Pigeon, Bonobo, Persian Leopard, and Asian Elephant. The zoo is also a great place for family outings.
