Introduction

Frankfurt's Bank District is a unique landmark in the city, characterized by its futuristic architectural style. Located between the Bahnhofsviertel, Messe, and Alter Oper, the district has become increasingly prosperous with the continuous development of the economy. The two high-rise buildings next to Bockenheimer Landstraße, built in the 1960s, have been replaced by more spectacular structures, earning Frankfurt the nickname "Mainhattan". The Deutsche Bank Building and the Messeturm are iconic examples of the district, with the former featuring two towers symbolizing the "lender and borrower" and the latter representing postmodernism.
